Colvin- assistant S-3 officer, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, lays a wreath representing the United States Marine Corps during a Veterans Day ceremony at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial in Boston, Nov. The memorial stands tall in Boston’s Seaport Park and serves as a public space for reflection and remembrance of those who gave their lives fighting for our freedom in the Global War on Terrorism. During the ceremony, five wreaths were laid at the foot of the memorial to represent each branch of the military. Third Platoon executed a call for fire exercise from the top of OP 11, an important procedure that calibrates large weapons, in this case the M-777 155mm howitzers on FOB Salerno.
